Heating water electrically is one of the heaviest loads in most households. A solar water heater takes that load off the meter for most of the year, using a collector on the terrace and an insulated storage tank.
Capacity is chosen from how many people use hot water and when. We size it for your routine rather than to a standard number, and we install the stand, the plumbing and the insulated piping along with it.

Two collector types, each better in different conditions.
Evacuated tube collector (ETC)
Glass tubes with a vacuum layer that holds heat well, including on cooler and partly cloudy mornings. Generally the more economical option, and easy to service tube by tube.
- Good performance in winter and in mild overcast conditions
- Individual tubes can be replaced if one is damaged
- Commonly chosen for domestic installations
Flat plate collector (FPC)
A sealed metal absorber plate under toughened glass. More robust where water is hard or where the system runs at higher pressure, and usually the choice for commercial installations.
- Handles hard water and pressurised lines better
- Sturdy construction suited to continuous heavy use
- Common in hostels, hotels and commercial kitchens

Water hardness, the height of your tank, and how much hot water you draw at once all affect the choice. We ask about those before recommending a type and capacity.
